But I saw some rust and wear. Granted, I live In Florida (Clearwater has 210 days of pure sunshine a year, ) and there's a snowball's chance in hell it will ever snow here (last time its snowed here it was in 1977 and it sleeted ONCE in 2011).

I thought classics had cheaper insurance. It's FWD, so I could fool the insurance company too (along with it being a 4-seater).

It's going to be more on older cars since there's no traction control, abs, airbags, engine size won't help either.

I remember getting snow in FL in the early '90s. In Panama City.
It was a pretty insignificant amount, though.

Is the motor a 455 or a rocket 350 with 350HP? It looks amazing.

I'm going to say rocket 350.

How fast was it? I knew it had suprising numbers.

Not very. Low 16's/high 15's with a mid 7 second 0-60. These were luxo-barges, not sports coupes.
More this:
Less This:
Dont forget those power figures are SAE gross, not net. Figure a realistic comparison to today's numbers would be to take the gross number and multiply by 0.7.

Nice.

Is the engine tunable? I'd love to SC it and MOAR TORQUES.

also, didn't GM underrate the hell out of their big engines.

You can modify just about anything depending on aftermarket support or funds you're willing to spend. All the manufacturers back then had a powerplant or 2 that they underrated. Judging by the performance figures I could find, this wan't one of them.
